PEG MGF

PEG MGF (pegylated mechano growth factor) is a PEGylated synthetic peptide derived from the E domain of the mechano-sensitive IGF-1 splice variant. PEGylation at a lysine residue reduces proteolytic degradation and renal clearance relative to unmodified MGF, extending pharmacokinetic half-life in biochemical assay systems. The E-domain peptide is studied in myoblast and satellite cell culture models for intracellular signaling interactions that are mechanistically independent of IGF-1R-mediated IGF-1 signaling. Supplied lyophilized for in vitro research use only.
